The Naked Fire Shot by Naked Nutrition: Product Review

Naked Nutrition has a new product out called the Naked Fire Shot - and you’ve GOT to check this out.

The Naked Fire Shot

Put down that gas station “energy” shot right now.

Let’s get right into it. There are a LOT of energy drink options out there these days…and if you ask me, the ingredients in most of them kinda suck.

They’re loaded with fake sugars, manufactured flavors and “vitamins” that aren’t easily absorbed by the body (if you’re lucky to find one with vitamins in it at all).

The caffeine in these other products usually feels gross, and you crash hard after it wears off.

It’s just not a fun experience to take most energy drinks or shots.

That’s why I’m so excited about this new product review - it’s designed to combat all of those issues and bring us the cleanest, most effective energy shot on the market…that doesn’t lead to a crash later.

Active Ingredients in Naked Nutrition’s Naked Fire Shot

The thing I want you to understand with this product is that the active ingredients are not what you’re going to find in other brands’ competing products.

Naked Nutrition takes pride in creating clean, effective supplements that make you feel better for using them.

Let’s dive into the active ingredients in the Naked Fire Shot and look at why they’re superior to anything else I’ve seen on the market.

Green Coffee Bean Extract

Let’s start with this ingredient because I want to make something clear here: this is NOT a caffeine replacement product. There is still caffeine in these energy shots.

However, it coms from green coffee bean extract - meaning the caffeine is pulled from raw coffee beans, rather than their more-processed, roasted counterparts.

Some of the benefits of consuming green coffee bean extract include:

  • Improved blood sugar balance

  • Reduced blood pressure

  • Weight loss help

  • Consumption of antioxidants - more than in roasted coffee beans

You’re going to see these benefits from several of the ingredients in the Naked Fire Shot, but these are the ones that make green coffee bean extract stand out from roasted coffee.

Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

If you’ve been poking around the health world at all in the last few decades, you’ve probably run into apple cider vinegar, or ACV.

There are a lot of benefits to consuming a small amount of this sour liquid each day.

On top of the above blood pressure, blood sugar and weight loss benefits listed for green tea extract, ACV also helps to:

  • Lower cholesterol

  • Detox your liver

  • Clear sinuses

  • Aid in curing sore throats

  • Relieve heartburn

  • Speed up healing of warts and bruises

…and that’s about half of the list in my full apple cider vinegar benefits article, which you can read here.

Long story short: this probiotic drink may taste strong, but that’s because it is strong. And it’s one of the reasons the Naked Fire Shot is so effective.

ACV adds one of the big detox elements to this shot, helping to cleanse your digestive tract and allow your energy levels to be steadier, thanks to better digestion.

Ginger Root

Ginger is another not-so-new health food…and it makes sense why we’ve stuck with it for so long.

Ginger has been used for a variety of different types of detox, including taking a ginger detox bath and brewing ginger tea.

This powerful root has been used for thousands of years by many different cultures, and we’ve known for a while that it aids in digestion.

It’s also full of antioxidants, many of the blood sugar and blood pressure benefits of the above ingredients, and it can also help to

  • Keep your mouth clean

  • Soothe sore muscles

  • Reduce nausea

  • Lower cholesterol

  • Reduce menstrual cramps

  • Slow cancer growth

Seeing a trend here? A lot of these ingredients are truly “super.”

Organic Cayenne Pepper

Personally, I’ve loved cayenne pepper as a kick to add to many different dishes throughout the years.

The heat they pack has long brought about speculations that cayenne pepper is good for boosting metabolism…personally, I think that’s a pretty vague claim.

The definitions of what “improves metabolism” are so broad, because metabolism itself isn’t clearly defined.

So, let’s get a little clearer on it: metabolism, at the basic level, is how well the digestive tract (and each cell within it) is able to break down nutrients and bring them to the areas of the body that need them.

So, it stands to reason that if something is improving your digestion, you’re likely to see metabolism benefits: your body will digest and use your food more effectively, hunger will be more easily controlled as a result, and weight loss could seem easier as a result of both of those things.

That being said…some of the other proven benefits of cayenne pepper (and others in the capsicum pepper family) include:

  • Improved digestive health

  • Better defense fungal infections, the cold, and the flu

  • Joint pain relief

  • May improve cognitive function

  • Improve ocular & cardiovascular health

  • Keeps skin & hair healthy

  • Prevent cancer

…yeah, so cayenne is a little more than a weight loss tool.

Although, it’s clearly shown to help with that, thanks to the digestive benefits as well!

Organic Panax Ginseng

This ingredient is a special one. When doing some research on adaptogens for another article a few months ago, I dove deeper into ginseng than I ever have…and I can’t believe it took me this long.

Did you know there are at least 7 proven ways that ginseng can aid in preventing and treating cancer?

Scientists have identified specific pathways that compounds from this powerful plant can either:

  1. Prevent cancer cells from ever getting out of control

  2. Aid in chemotherapy to make it more effective against cancerous cells, and safer toward healthy cells during chemo treatment

When I read these studies, I truly jumped out of my seat. Why aren’t we talking about this more?!

Anyway…all that said, ginseng is also one of the most-studied adaptogens out there.

Adaptogens behave the way their name implies: they adapt to help your body in the way it needs at the time you take them.

Ginseng’s main general health benefit is its antioxidant properties that help reduce the body’s overall stress load. And when your stress is decreased, you’re less likely to become sick - either from short term infections or with chronic illness.

When it comes to including this ingredient, it might seem less obvious how this contributes to energy or detox - but those antioxidants are a crucial part of overall body detox.

To me, including ginseng in these shots was a smart move by Naked Nutrition, thanks to all the other non-advertised benefits of ginseng that I just talked about.

Organic Ashwagandha

It might surprise you to see ashwagandha on an energy drink’s ingredients label.

However, I think this is brilliant.

If you’re not familiar with ashwagandha, it’s another adaptogen that is typically used for its de-stressing effects.

Personally, it helped me a lot in healing my adrenals, getting my cortisol set straight, and reversing many of the effects of my PCOS.

So…why would you put a common calming adaptogen into an energy drink?

Remember: adaptogens do what your body needs them to do at the time you take them.

My theory here is that ashwagandha was included so that the caffeine crash and jitters don’t happen. And I say that because that’s the effect I feel from these shots.

Though the Naked Fire Shot has the same amount of caffeine as a typical cup of coffee, I haven’t felt any energy crash later from this product. And my theory is that the ashwagandha is preventing it for me.

Whether that’s the reason this company included it or not, I’m going to say that’s an effect I noticed and the logic makes sense to me.

Plus, even if that wasn’t the goal…ashwagandha is so good for us, I’m just glad it’s in there so I can enjoy its benefits while staying energized!

So…are the Naked Fire Shots any good?

TL;DR - I probably wouldn’t have written a full breakdown of this product if I didn’t like it.

About their flavor…

You can see the ingredients list. This shot is spicy and the name is 100% correct: it’s a Fire Shot.

If you don’t like a quick, umami-spicy rush through your nose from strong flavors…this might not be for you.

It’s a similar feeling in the sinuses to eating wasabi or horseradish, but it doesn’t sting as much and that feeling subsides pretty fast. You can feel this shot as it works its way into your belly, but I like that.

You can actually sense the product moving through your body and doing what it claims to - something that’s important for an energy and detox product.

So, long story short, I do like strong flavors that make you feel this way…and even if you don’t, it’s a quick shot with a TON of health benefits that just can’t be ignored.

Final thoughts on the Naked Fire Shot by Naked Nutrition

Personally, I give the Naked Fire Shot from Naked Nutrition a huge thumbs-up.

The taste is strong, but great considering the potency of all the individual ingredients included in it.

You feel the shot moving through your body and starting to work pretty much instantly.

And the energy that it provides is clean, lasts for hours, and I have never gotten a caffeine crash at the end of it.

I think it’s absolutely genius that they combined the naturally-energizing effects of a gut detox with some clean caffeine. And the ashwagandha added to level out those adrenals and prevent a crash later? Unmatched.

If you want to know whether these have my stamp of approval, they absolutely do. I highly recommend you try them for yourself to feel the difference that clean energy can make!
